Eyecandy iWear

Candace Hines is a Muncie entrepreneur who journeyed to ignite a fashion revolution. With an eye for design and a passion for empowering others, Candace founded Eyecandy iWear, a fashion brand that celebrates individuality and encourages boldness. From T-Shirts to a Thriving Fashion Empire Candace’s first entry into the fashion realm was a t-shirt merch line for her musical brand, Candy Cayne Ink. This endeavor quickly became a thriving high-fashion empire for women's daily wear and business attire in 2019. Candace formed Eyecandy iWear and it quickly gained popularity, expanding to include children's and men's clothing. Candace's vision for Eyecandy iWear was to create a brand that catered to unique styles, allowing everyone to embrace their true selves and beauty through fashion. Thanks to online shopping and shipping services, Eyecandy iWear's reach extends beyond Indiana. Candace states, "We currently serve all of Indiana, and we regularly ship to other states like Texas, Georgia, Florida, California, etc. It's safe to say that Eyecandy has made its presence across the United States." A Platform for Aspiring Models and Entrepreneurs Candace's entrepreneurial spirit goes beyond creating a fashion brand, she also aims to encourage aspiring models and entrepreneurs. Eyecandy iWear provides opportunities for brand ambassadors and models, hosts fashion shows and model calls, and organizes vendor events. The Eyecandy iWear brand currently boasts over fifty models and ambassadors. Candace's dedication to empowering others has led to honors, including Fashion Stylist and Volunteer of the Year at the Indiana Black Expo. Her brand's impact extends beyond clothing, fostering a sense of community and igniting the entrepreneurial flame in others. She also recently opened the Eyecandy iWear Boutique storefront in Muncie. The Support of the East Central Indiana SBDC Candace sought support from the East Central Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to help grow her business. East Central SBDC Business Advisor James Womack worked as Candace’s advisor to assist with a business plan and solutions. She also attended meetings that helped her become successful as an entrepreneur, and she still refers to the first pamphlet she received from the SBDC to assist in completing and revising her business plan. She uses LivePlan to help complete the business strategy, financial plans, and forecasting goals. “The Indiana SBDC has helped me tremendously. James has walked me though first believing in what I am capable of and understanding my business's monetary worth. He assisted me with a blueprint to begin working on a business plan. He walked me through understanding the different profits and losses, breaking down my time so I was more efficient, and gave recommendations that helped streamline my time, delegations, and finances. After every meeting, I left with an ‘assignment’ that kept me open-minded and focused on how to improve and become successful as an entrepreneur,” Candace commented on her support from East Central ISBDC, “My biggest asset so far has been James; he helped guide me through solutions to problems or hurdles I was having that I may not have thought of myself.” With a physical storefront in Muncie, customers can visit Eyecandy iWear Boutique at 227 S.
