2016 Indiana Companies to Watch
The ninth annual Indiana Companies to Watch awards program, which highlights the state’s most impressive second-stage growth companies, will be accepting nominations February 11 through April 11. Companies to Watch winners will be highlighted in various media channels, honored at an August 25 gala and featured in the Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice magazine.”Winning this award was not only a great honor,” said Ari Vidali, Founder and CEO of Envisgage Technologies, “It has helped us highlight our company and high-growth culture to perspective employees, partners and investors.”Anyone may nominate eligible businesses or apply for the awards by completing the application forms located at inctw.org.This is a great way for business resource providers, from chambers to bankers,to show support of their clients.
SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative
The SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative is taking registrations for their 2016 class. Participants will have the opportunity to work with experienced mentors, attend specialized workshops and develop connections with peers, government leaders, and the financial community. To be eligible for this no cost program, participants must have been in business for three years, have annual revenues of at least $400,000 and employ at least one person other than themselves. Launch Indiana Road Trip
I’ll be joining Launch Indiana, an initiative that provides mentorship and education to innovation-driven enterprises, in visiting nine Southern Indiana entrepreneurial hotspots February 3-5. We’ll be providing updates on what initiatives are available to support Southern Indiana’s innovation-driven start-ups. Join us in Terre Haute and Evansville at either public event or follow the road trip on Twitter using #launchroadshow.
