We are pleased announce that 33 second-stage businesses have been selected as 2013 Indiana Companies to Watch award winners! These 33 companies hail from 14 different Indiana counties and are projecting a combined revenue of $422 million this year. Additionally, they will create 345 new jobs in 2013.
The winners employ between 6 and 150 employees and have between $750,000 and $100 million in revenue. They were selected from a pool of over 300 applicants and represent industries ranging from biotech research, robotic part design, gourmet flavor manufacturing, and automotive safety.
With major sponsorship from Barnes and Thornburg, LLP, the Companies to Watch awards program is an initiative developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation. The program is also sponsored in part by Katz Sapper & Miller, KeyBank, Purdue University and Ivy Tech Community College.
Winners will be recognized at a reception and ceremony hosted by the Indiana Small Business Development Center, Edward Lowe Foundation, and Indiana Economic Development Corporation on August 22 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
