Antonella S. Barker is the Coordinator for the Gayle and Bill Cook Center for Entrepreneurship, the South Central Small Business Development Center, and The Indiana Center for the Life Sciences at Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington, Indiana. She has broad experience working to assist the community as part of her responsibilities in the Ivy Tech Community College system. Antonella has served as the Coordinator of the Ivy Tech, Indiana Center for the Life Sciences for the last 5 ½ years. Her role included assisting life sciences companies with use of training space, supporting faculty from the Biotechnology program and supporting other areas of the College from an administrative and event management perspective. She received her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Assisting through Ivy Tech Community College-Kokomo and her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Western Governors University-Indiana. Antonella has over fifteen years of experience in business management and extensive customer service in education and government organizations also holding a CompTIA Project + Certification. She has helped coordinate a US Department of Labor Grant as well as been an Adjunct Instructor and Academic Advisor at the Kokomo, Logansport, and Wabash Campus’s prior to moving to Bloomington, Indiana. Antonella loves to be engaged with the community by serving as a board member of the Project Search Program within Stone Belt, being active with the Bloomington Chamber, Chairing several years of events for the O’Bannon Institute, and MLK Day of Service Organization. She is married and lives in Bloomington, Indiana.
