Ginnie Faller is the Business Advisor for the Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center covering Dearborn, Ripley, Ohio, Switzerland, and Franklin counties. She spent the last 6 months helping a local construction company structure their business for growth, but prior to that she earned her MBA from Penn State and spent the last 15 years working to develop and market new products for such companies as GE, Kohler, and Campbell Hausfeld. Before obtaining her MBA, Ginnie had a career in animal agriculture. She grew up on a farm in Northwest Pennsylvania and earned a bachelors and masters degree in animal science, which she used in her job helping livestock producers become more efficient managers of their operations. When she is not working to help small businesses, she is trying to keep up with her teenage daughter and husband in Southern Indiana. She also spends time volunteering and teaching classes for children and adults at her church. Although, she just started this new position a few weeks ago, she has become passionate about helping new businesses get started and succeed, and helping people see their ideas grow into tangible realities.
