Rachael Armstrong

Rachael Armstrong serves as a Small Business Navigator with the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) and One Southern Indiana, where she advises entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout Southern Indiana on strategy, growth, operations, financing, and business planning.

Rachael brings a unique combination of legal, business, and economic development experience to her work with clients. Prior to joining the ISBDC, she practiced law and developed experience navigating regulatory, operational, and organizational challenges and had 3 businesses of her own. Her background allows her to help business owners evaluate opportunities, identify risks, and make informed decisions that support long-term success.

In her role with the ISBDC, Rachael works with businesses across a wide range of industries, from startups and Main Street businesses to manufacturers, service providers, and childcare facilities to growth-stage companies. She regularly assists clients with market research, financial analysis, capital access strategies, pricing, business model development, and strategic planning. She also administers two regional loan programs and collaborates with economic development partners to connect entrepreneurs with the resources they need to grow.

Rachael has holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Juris Doctor,  and an MBA. Her passion lies in helping entrepreneurs transform ideas into sustainable businesses and helping established companies uncover new opportunities for growth. She believes there is no business question too big or too small. Whether a client is exploring a new idea, navigating a challenge, or preparing for significant growth, she is committed to providing practical guidance, trusted support, and connections to resources that help move businesses forward with confidence.
