Expanding Adventures

Nov 11th, 2011 • Southeast ISBDC

In August of 2010, Cheryl Boggs came to the ISBDC seeking advice on how to start a business.  The ISBDC provided Cheryl with answers to her start-up questions as well as access to Small Business Navigator to create her business plan.  Since then, Cheryl opened Personalized Kids Adventures in the small town of Guilford, Indiana.  As the business grew, Cheryl realized that in order to experience continued growth she would need to relocate to a more populated area.  Through the use of the ISBDC’s ESRI market research Cheryl decided on the city of Lawrenceburg as her new location.  She worked closely with Kelly Will, her ISBDC advisor, to update her business plan in order to apply for local funding and as a result received a grant from the City of Lawrenceburg to relocate her business.  Personalized Kids Adventures’  new location has presented Cheryl with more exposure and growth opportunities.

Personalized Kids Adventures offers a unique opportunity for parents, grandparents and caregivers to experience adventures with the children in their lives while spending quality time with them.
