First Capitol Meats

After more than three years of planning and preparation, First Capitol Meats of Corydon, IN successfully secured funding to expand their meat processing operations. The project received strong support from local town, county, and state partners, who recognized meat processing as a critical bottleneck in the regional food industry.

The expansion will significantly increase processing capacity, strengthen the local food supply chain, and allow the business to serve a broader customer base by offering a retail meat counter and other local retail goods. The new facility is expected to be fully built out within the next three months, followed by a grand reopening and expanded operations.
