If requested by law enforcement authorities, the ISBDC may disclose information you submit for law enforcement purposes in accordance with legal requirements.

The ISBDC may use Google Analytics to collect general information about the number of visitors to the ISBDC’s Website. This data contains information such as how many users visited a certain page on the Website, dates visited, referral sources, and session lengths. As a matter of policy, the ISBDC views this information in aggregate numbers only; there is no individual identification of viewers in the ISBDC’s analysis of its Website.

The ISBDC maintains a list of subscribers who have requested to receive periodic e-mail updates and newsletters. Any recipient of an ISBDC email may unsubscribe from future messages via a link at the bottom of each email message. In such instances, the ISBDC will provide you with the ability to submit a request for access, rectification, erasure, a copy of your personal information, or to restrict or object to further processing. You also have the right to data portability of your personal information. The erasure of your personal information shall be subject to the retention periods in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. If you have provided consent to the use of your information, you have the right to withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of the ISBDC’s use of the personal information prior to receipt of your request. In the event that children, unbeknownst to the ISBDC, provide information through the ISBDC’s Website, the ISBDC only uses the information to provide a response to the writer and not to create profiles of children.

The ISBDC is unable to identify if children voluntarily submit personal information via the ISBDC’s social media pages, and the ISBDC strongly encourages parents and teachers to monitor the Internet activity of their children.
