Laura Turvey started baking by her grandmother’s side. Following in her footsteps and after years of baking for friends and family, she connected with Indiana’s brewing community via Indiana on Tap to launch Tipsy Turvey’s Pubcakes.
The company specializes in craft beer cupcakes, breads, cakes, and beer “crackers”. East Central Indiana SBDC business advisor, Tom Steiner, has helped Laura maintain better records and worked with her to navigate food, inventory and equipment costs. Just two years into the business, Laura’s unique products were featured on the front page of the Muncie Star Press and in the Chicago Tribune.
Tipsy Turvey’s Pubcakes continues to grow, primarily through the brewing community, festivals, and farmers’ markets.
